Description
"The smoothest debut in music history—preserved in a time capsule."
You are bidding on a Factory Sealed 1985 US First Pressing of Sade’s debut masterpiece, Diamond Life. This isn't a modern reissue or a digital remaster; this is the authentic, analog-sourced original pressing as it was meant to be heard—untouched by a stylus for over four decades.
For the serious collector, this copy checks every box:
-
First Pressing Credentials: Correct catalog numbers and 1985 copyright dates.
-
Physical Integrity: The jacket remains crisp under original shrink, maintaining the deep blacks and vibrant blues of the iconic cover art.
-
Sonic Potential: Being factory sealed, the vinyl inside is in pristine, virginal condition, free from the paper scuffs or spindle marks found on even the best "Open-Box" copies.
Shipping & Returns Policy
Professional Packaging
-
Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.
-
Pro-Tip Protection: While I typically ship vinyl behind the jacket to prevent seam splits, this record will remain sealed to preserve its Mint status. It will be double-padded to ensure the jacket arrives in the exact condition pictured.
Fast & Tracked Shipping
-
Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.
-
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.
-
Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying to receive the discounted rate.
Returns & Satisfaction
-
The "Collector’s Guarantee": I use strict Goldmine Grading standards. If you feel the record does not match the description or grading, please contact me directly before leaving feedback. I am a collector first and I value your satisfaction.
-
30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.
-
🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For sealed records, returns are only accepted if the item remains Factory Sealed. Opening the shrink wrap drastically alters the market value and will void the return policy.
-
Shipping Costs: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless there was a significant error in the listing.
