This is from a large Classical Vinyl LP collection that I have acquired. As with most classical collectors, the owner was very careful with his collection.  Many of the vinyl look like they haven't been played or have been played on very few occasions and in some cases items are sealed/mint unplayed!!.

VINYL IN EXCELLENT+ /1 PLAY CONDITION??

In TOP condition

Have checked vinyl under bright light - only light wispy/hairlines  visible & superficial surface marks/fine paperlines on Side A.

VINYL IN SUPERB CONDITION

Shiny piece of vinyl that after all these years still has a deep sheen.

Not sure if the vinyl has been played : more than once or twice  - no tell tale signs

Record labels are in superb condition with the print clearly visible and the artwork in mint as new condition. 

No writing on the record label

No sticky residue or discoloration, other than the few spider-trails.

FEW spider-trails + no significant spindle wear.

SLEEVE  IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

The laminated sleeve has general light storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some small light minor creases on/near the edges/the spine

very light record ring wear

Rear of sleeve is nice and clean condition, apart some spots of minor staining.

Sleeve that has some light natural wear through age - that has been nicely cared for.

Sleeve that is fully intact without any splits or tears - that has lasted very well  -   In nice/superb condition for its age.

GRADINGS ARE BASED ON RECORD COLLECTOR

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
