A STUNNING FIRST PRESSING COPY OF SAHIB SHIHAB’s JAZZ PARTY on the ‘MADE IN DENMARK’ DEBUT Label. Cat No DEB 141. Original DEB Stickered Dutch Cover (This is how the LP was released) Incredibly rare and in truly lovely condition –
Musically this is 60’s Danish modal jazz at it’s best featuring the creme de la creme of the Danish jazz scene: Allan Botschinsky (flugelhorn), Ole Molin (guitar), Niels-Henning Orsted Pederson (bass), Alex Riel (drums), Bjarne Rostvold (snare drums) This LP features the incredible modal cut "Charade".
We have been trading in records, running record fairs and collecting for over 20 years and have never seen a better copy. Cover
The front laminated cover retains it’s full colour, the seams, spine and are sharp, crisp and true, the corners feature light rubbing only. The back cover is also in superb order with light yellowing and minimal foxing marks mid bottom only. All text is legible and crisp. No writing or stamps. Pete Russell record shop sticker bottom left no other detractors. We grade this cover as EXCELLENT (EX)
RECORD
The flat well centered playing surfaces display a superb rainbow luster under bright magnified light. Very light blunt paper scuffing only which is NOT audible. The textured Debut labels also display superbly, showing only the very lightest signs of use of the spindle holes. No writing, stickers, stamps or other detractors There is NO warp or buckle, This is a stunning example and we grade it without reservation visually as Excellent + (EX+) Audibly NM (Near Mint)
