Description
SAHIB SHIHAB: Sahib's Jazz Party, Denmark Debut 141 LP, 1964. Ultra Danish Debut pressing. One of the absolute best Jazz LP's from that time and place. COVER is EXCELLENT or EXCELLENT+. Superb, hard to find better.
Side 1 of LP is EXCELLENT+, plays close to NM all the way with great sound. Side 2 is VG+ visually, really nice looking aside from a passage by the end of Conversations pt 1 into the middle of Conversations pt 2 where you hear some repeated tics. This ticking is caused mainly by a light scratch (not feelable to finger). A couple of other light hairlines are seen in this area, but they don't seem to affect play. About 4-5 minuted are affected in total, but only about 2 minutes with more intrusive clicking, due to the quiet NHOP bass solo. Oveall not so bad, as the rest of the LP plays very close to NM, which is rare for this LP. Not a much played LP and a highly enjoyable copy here!
The players here, all really on fire for this live session at Montmatre in 1964, are NHOP (bs), B. Rostvold (snare drums), A. Riel (dr) and O. Molin (gt).
Please note: there was no dedicated Debut cover made for this Debut LP, only the dutch Fontana cover with various stickers covering the Fontana logo, so the cover is as it should be.

To get shipping quote for a single LP, use shipping calculator. For auctions ending over 80 GBP, wait for invoice. For 80+ GBP orders an additional 8 GBP is charged for cover the 75 DKK registration fee (tracking number).
You will save shipping on Multiple items, of course. Wait for invoice and you'll see the combined shipping price. You will NEVER pay more than my actual cost, often you'll pay 10-15% less than is costs me.
Packing
Special german-made cruciform-mailers designed for multiple LPs are used even for single LP shipments. The boxes are oversized and provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to package. Addtional protection may also be used when nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge for packing materials.
Gradings
MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 2-3 times at most.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else, aside from possibly a barely visible and inaudible hairlines.
EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG, rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description for the actual faults.
Playgrading
I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Playgrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.
