Description
ARTIST: Saint Steven (also St. Steven, born Steve Cataldo, 1950)
ALBUM TITLE: Over the hills (side one title) and Bastich (side two title)
LABEL: original 1969 pressing on Probe Records, catalog no. CPLP 4506 (manufactured and distributed by Grand Award Records), STEREO, gatefold cover, made in USA.
CONDITION: front cover is close to NM (having slightly bumped the upper right corner plus some minor wear on both left corners; no wear ring, no shelf wear), back cover is Exc. (having some minor overall shelf wear plus light wear ring in its upper and bottom areas), vinyl is between Exc. to NM (having on each side some scattered scuffs plus a few sleeve marks). Record was cleaned and tested, playing as close as possible to MINT. There are a few minor pops from pressing on the dead wax before first track side one plus on its beginning fading into the music.
MUSIC: 13 tracks, studio recordings. Featuring Saint Steven on vocals and rhythm guitar with Steve Morgen on lead guitar plus three unknown musicians (on keyboards, bass, drums). Steve Cataldo's only album ever released under Saint Steven banner. Very interesting and special pshychedelic music album based on blues, mellow pop vocal, fuzz garage and special effects-collages.
