Description
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy (from the Los Angeles pressing plant per the runout matrices) of the second LP by Australian punk group the Saints, released in 1978. The group's follow-up to their debut was basically a punk album, but it saw them broadening their sonic palette by adding horns to some tracks, notably the LP's leadoff track, "Know Your Product" (also released as a single), which produced an odd but compelling punk-soul hybrid. The jacket's flaws are mainly around the edges: corner and seam wear, light spine and edge wear, and light creasing along spine on the back cover. It also has light ring wear and dinging -- overall VG++. There is a gold promo stamp on the front cover. Visually, the disc is clean with a few dings and some hairline scrapes on side 2, and some light scuffing. Most of side 1 plays M-, and overall the disc plays with some light surface noise -- EX(+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (VG+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
