High quality audiophile reissue of a 1962 Decca release from King Records of Japan. From the King Super Analogue series. Half Speed Mastered. Heavy (180 Gram) Virgin vinyl. Mastered with all Vacuum Tube Amplifiers. Beautiful high gloss and gold foiled sleeve with OBI Strip.
Released in very limited quantities, these records are becoming quite scarce and are extremely hard to find in this fantastic condition. Record sleeve looks like new. Corners are sharp, spine is straight and colors vibrant. Vinyl is shiny to the eye and plays beautifully.
Review: The Decca engineers captured the full spectrum of orchestral and organ sound in Geneva's Victoria Hall. Ansermet's interpretation strikes me as the most majestic I've heard. I heartily recommend this to anyone who loves this piece. ~ Amazon
