SAL 3475-9 PHILIPS Hi-Fi Stereo – WAGNER: PARSIFAL – KNAPPERTSBUSCH

Recorded at the 1962 Bayreuth Festival and issued by Philips on their maroon/silver Hi-Fi Stereo labels, catalogue numbers SAL 3475-9. Boxed set of 5 discs and 40-page illustrated booklet. Hans Knappertsbusch conducts the Choir and Orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival in Wagner’s opera "Parsifal" with soloists: Jess Thomas, George London, Martti Talvela, Hans Hotter, Gustav Neidlinger, Irene Dalis.

The 5 discs are in near mint condition, clean and shiny with no visible marks, we have not played them. The booklet is near mint. The box is excellent with minor scuffing.
