Description

SALAMANDER Ten Commandments (Youngblood UK 1971) Original First Press.

Excellent and rare late psych early prog concept venture, that keeps it tight and melodic while adding some funky beats, stabby organ and varied guitar.  There are also some excellent orchestral moves, which give the whole thing an advanced cinematic feel. This should appeal to fans of prog and psych but also those after funky Hammond-fueled grooves.

Grading

Vinyl: VG++ Looks very nice with only one non-feelable non-sounding surface mark. Plays fantastic and noiseless for the most part, but there is a little light surface noise at the start of the first track and in a couple of places elsewhere. A near top copy, but not mint.
Sleeve
:
VG not at all bad for this sleeve, which usually turns up with splits because of the multi fold out design, and tears because of the matt finish. This has a couple of small areas of damage on the front (see last 2 pics) some wear on the folds, but otherwise just light general age wear.

Grading

M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.

EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound

VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.

VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
