Special offer of a rare label error of this limited-edition single! These RED vinyl singles were issued by RCA in the year 2000 to celebrate Elvis' "next millennium"; they were part of an expensive set of his #1 hits and weren't released for individual sale. We offer both the error single and the correct label design: a fascinating pair!
The first single is on the wrong label design: the 1970s "dog near top" label with the updated RCA logo. The second 45 is the correct release with the "dog on top" label design (this design featured the traditional RCA Victor logotype, and was used for all the original '50s-to-early-'60s Elvis 45s). Both singles and one iconic picture sleeve (with The King in his Army uniform) are UNPLAYED MINT gems!
Having never seen this label variation before, we could be the "discoverer" of this error. It isn't listed in any of the Elvis record guides, and it's undoubtedly valuable. How many examples exist? (100? 50? 25?)...
