Sam Apple Pie Self titled vinyl LP First UK stereo press from 1969 on the blue Decca label Cat no. SKL-R 5005 XZAL-9099.P-1W and XZAL-9100.P-1W matrices
Vinyl is in nice condition. Bright, clean and glossy with a few light sleeve removal scuffs and the odd hairline visible under strong light. VG+ Audio is great. Plays through crisp and clear with no sticks or jumps and no distortion. Only mild surface noise audible between tracks. A great listen. EX Labels are still very clean with no writing, stickers or damage. Some light spindle marks on either side confined to round the centre hole but certainly not overplayed. EX Original laminated Sleeve is also in great condition. Clean and solid with light signs of handling. Spine still intact and solid and perfectly readable. Opening edge still sharp. Laminate still glossy with very little edgewear. Rear still clean and white. A nice example. EX Original blue Decca inner is included which have no splits or tears but a couple of age related spots. Gradings;
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
