On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Sam Cooke called "Encore" and is a UK 1958 1st pressing on the 1st Press HMV label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF SAM COOKES RAREST EVER LPS (IF NOT THE RAREST) AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED!!!!  THIS IS THE 1958 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HMV LABEL, 1ST PRESS EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st MONO pressing from 1958 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The Cat. No is CLP 1273 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press HMV label (see picture) and is a 1958 MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 50s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines, only a VERY few light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! HOWEVER it is VERY important to note that virtually ALL of the above can ONLY be noticed under bright light - and this is a VERY shiny BRILLIANT looking record!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with only a few VERY light clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and only some occassional VERY low level background crackle (NOT nasty loud frying bacon type crackle)!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record STRICTLY must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has some slight roughening/wear to the edges, only VERY slight spinal wear in places (NOT through the white colour), only slight corner wear, shiny laminate, only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and barely ANY yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT STILL LOOKS VERY NICE INDEED AND PLAYS VERY WELL - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
