COMMENT... HERE WE HAVE THE HIDEOUSLY RARE ORIGINAL FIRST UK ALBUM FROM SAM COOKE AS RELEASED IN 1958 ON THE MAROON AND GOLD H.M.V. RECORD LABEL. THIS COPY IS IN GREAT CONDITION, THE SLEEVE IS CLEAN AND SHINEY WITH NO RING-WEAR OR WRITING AND STILL RETAINS IT'S ORIGINAL SHEEN ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE THE INEVITABLE EDGE SCUFF'S AND A 2 INCH BOTTOM SEAM SPLIT FROM THE OPENING EDGE BUT TO BE FAIR I THINK THIS TO BE EXPECTED AFTER 46 YEARS!. AS FOR THE RECORD IT IS PRESSED ON ORIGINAL THICK HEAVY UK VINYL AND IS IN REALLY CLEAN CONDITION WITH ONLY THE LIGHTEST PAPER HAIR-LINE'S SCRATCHES ONLY SEEN CLOSE-UP UNDER VERY HARSH LIGHTING.
