SAM 'LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS "THE ROOSTER CROWED IN ENGLAND" Imp. orig. mono lp on 77 Records 77 LA 12-1 England issue (1959) VG/VG+. I would grade this LP VG. I will only auction VG condition LPs that are “classic recordings” or just very old, interesting and hard-to-find LPs. These records will probably have a healthy amount of play and visible scuffs or lines that do affect play. The record still plays through nicely; it’s just an obviously much appreciated recording. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS RE-CLEAN EACH SIDE AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). VERY COLLECTIBLE LP THAT STILL PLAYS VG to VG+ WITH NO MAJOR CRACKUPS (a major crackup to me is any below surface noise that is over 5 consecutive seconds in duration)
The Jacket: a very functional jacket I would grade VG+ overall with a bent corner. Very nice!!! (I will only be citing things not visual in the photos). (I do not remove stickers unless they come off easily. I leave that for the buyer).
