Description

Up for auction here is "Contours" by Sam Rivers on the Blue Note label, catalog #BST 84206. The LP (with "a Division of Liberty" on the label and VAN GELDER stamped in dead wax) is VG/VG+..kinda scuffy, but very superficial. I played this one good and loud....when my wife came home she went crazy....she didn't care for the music....she said it was too crazy, but she said she had never heard any record sound so good. The sound is just explosive. The cover has worn seams (with a one inch split on bottom right) and heavy ringwear. I'll likely be disappointed that this doesn't sell for $100 because it sounds that good...but it's just going to sell to the highest bidder. I'll pick up a shitty-sounding CD....thanks a lot modern day Blue Note. Please view my other auctions for more great jazz LPs.

Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $14 to Canada and $24 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $6 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
