** SAM RIVERS “Contours”  RARE Blue Note Mono 1st Press BLP4206 Van Gelder stamp. New York Label. *VINYL: Visual: G+   Playback: VG and better at times  Vinyl has lots of scuffs, marks and scratching around surface, they are all light and surface only, no deep    scratches. Surface still has nice luster and the grooves are not heavily worn.  *PLAYBACK is surprisingly very very nice, surface noise is mostly very light and not distracting at all. No skips or a few occasional crackles and pops. Great deal on a rare album If you don’t mind an album that doesn’t look the best but plays nice. Tested on two tables and two needles. *COVER: EX absolutely beautiful condition, no ring wear, no splits or damage, one small corner crease or would be NM.
