SAM RIVERS: "FUCHSIA SWING SONG" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4184. Rare vintage jazz Lp! MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on both labels. VAN GELDER stamped in the trail-off on both sides (no ear). Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Sam Rivers/tenor sax; Jaki Byard/piano; Ron Carter/bass; Anthony Williams/drums. The thick cover is in clean excellent shape, still partially protected by the cellophane shrink wrap (mostly on back side), displays wonderfully. There are some very minor creases/rips at lower right edge on front only. No seam splits, no cut-out marks, no writing, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The vinyl is in EX+ condition (beautiful sheen)!! The songs are: Fuchsia Swing Song; Downstairs Blues Upstairs; Cyclic Episode; Luminous Monolith; Beatrice; Ellipsis. Crisp original Blue Note Records inner sleeve included.
