Description
Up for sale in this auction is a rare STILL SEALED LP copy of Sam The Sham and the Pharaohs' LP, "Li'l Red Riding Hood". This is an original 1966 mono pressing on MGM with catalogue number E-4407. Vinyl is assumed to be mint as the record is still sealed. Jacket is in VG to VG+ shape (Much closer to VG+) with a little bit of corner stubbing from the shrink closing in on the jacket over the years. The top right of the shrink has opened a tiny bit by the corner. There is some red marker on the outside shrink (it is NOT on the jacket, we have confirmed this by carefully inspecting where the shrink is broken there. Extremely hard to photograph this detail but we assure you the marker is on the shrink and not the jacket). There is a hole drilled into the bottom left corner as was common for sale bin records years ago. We have rated the jacket somewhere between VG and VG+ mostly because of the hole punched through the jacket.

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
