Samhain - Initium (Plan 9 PL9-04)
1984 original LP. Matrix numbers are "PL-904-A TR PA 6.84 M2 EDP" and "PL-904-B TR PA 8.84 M3 EDP" and vinyl is slightly translucent with a small ring. No Caroline Records designation anywhere.
It's easy to get lost in the weeds trying to figure out pressings for this title, but if Discogs is correct, then this is either the "third" first pressing (translucent without insert) or an early Caroline pressing using the original Plan 9 sleeves. I can't say for sure. I got this in high school sometime between 1984 and 1987.
Vinyl looks a little scuffy, but I played it and only is there noise in the deadwax.
Condition: Disc VG+, Cover VG+A note on grading: As a collector, I understand the frustration and disappointment with getting an item that is not in the condition in which it was listed. I grade conservatively, both for yours and my protection. I'd rather under-grade something and have you be pleasantly surprised than deal with an unsatisfied customer. My VG+ are most sellers' EX or VG++.
My gradings are: Still Sealed, M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
I ship all my non-sealed records with the disc in an inner sleeve out of the cover to avoid seam splits. All sealed records packaged to avoid seam splits. LPs ship in a 13" x 13" x 1" (or 2") LP mailer with cardboard squares on both sides. Over 15 years experience shipping vinyl.
