AUTOGRAPHED BY GLENN DANZIG, EERIE VON, STEVE ZING, AND DAMIEN!!!

This is a very VERY rare item because it not only has all three original Samhain members' autographs, but also Damien signed his name on the back!  Pete "Damien" Marshall joined Samhain shortly before "Initium" was released to play guitar on the "Season Of The Dead" tour. After the last Samhain show in July of 1986, Damien left the band.  He was not part of the Samhain reunion tour in 1999.  This proves that this album was signed during Samhain's heyday...legit autographs from all four members circa 1984-86!!!  THIS IS NOT THE CAROLINE REISSUE!  This is the original first press on PLAN 9 (PL9-04) on black vinyl (sadly, not the limited red vinyl issue). This is as authentic as Samhain memorabilia gets!!  I guess that this could have been signed at their 02/28/1986 show at Hannum Hall in Cambridge, Mass (it's the most local venue to New Hampshire that Samhain played, as this was previously owned by a New Hampshire resident).  Again, that's just an assumption.  All signatures are in blue ball point pen. The best part is that each signature also has a personal message:

Glenn Danzig: "This Hell's For You" (though it's messy, it could say "this howl's for you")

Eerie Von: "Keep Ghoul" (a ghastly pun on keep cool?)

Steve Zing: "We Who Live Are Ever Dead"

Damien: "Life Is..."

DON'T MISS THIS CHANCE TO OWN A PIECE OF SAMHAIN HISTORY!!!  All past auctions for signed "Initium" records have only been semi-legit, with either 1, or 2, or 3 signatures...and usually signed after Samhain disbanded.  Not to mention that most of those have been signed RE-ISSUES...NOT THE ORIGINAL!!  Happy bidding, and GOOD LUCK!!!

JACKET GRADING:  VG+ ... Jacket still has a nice gloss and has been in a sleeve for a long time.  It has a few creases and bends due to your typical milk crate storage, but it still looks great!  There's a slight ring forming, but the ring is more of an indentation, and there's no difference in the color with the black cover and the ring.  It has been preserved well in the plastic sleeve... black album covers tend to wear easier, and form a "white" ring without a protective sleeve.  See pics!!

VINYL GRADING: VG+ ... There's a slight scratch that goes through the first three tracks, and it can be heard when there's no music or when the music is quieter (but if you know Samhain, that doesn't happen often).  It's really not too noticeable unless you're really trying to hear it.  There's other signs of "love" and use, surface sratches and stuff, but the record plays great without skips, issues or distracting noise.  Overall the record still has a nice shiney gloss.  The label is perfect.

AUTOGRAPH GRADING: VG++ ... It's hard to grade signatures, but this was signed in blue ball point pen.  It leaves a nice indentation on the jacket (which I think is cooler than a black marker, honestly).  Each autograph has a personal message (see above in description).  The ink is all there, no smudges, no smears, as this has been preserved well in a plastic sleeve for some time.  See pics and be the judge!
