Description

Original SAMHAIN "Initium" on PLAN 9 / CAROLINE RECORDS PL9-04. Includes the rare, limited lyric insert. I'm not really sure which pressing this record is from. It has the Caroline and Plan 9 addresses on the back cover, but no bar code. Insert is authentic, and is in great shape. Cover is very nice, with light ring and general wear. Light corner dings. Nice and glossy overall. Record is in very nice shape, too. Light surface scuffs/grooves in a few spots. Not too bad.

I've been collecting Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig records/merch for years....and have some rare, odd pressings. ALL ORIGINALS!!! Also, please read my shipping and return policies BEFORE bidding. Thanks, and good luck.

Howdy. I'm getting a lot of emails regarding this record. Here's some additional info about it:

From what I can tell, the vinyl is a first pressing. The side-A matrix numbers read PL-904-A. There's also a very light M2 etching.....and finally a very small etching that appears to read PA 6-84. The side-B matrix etchings are PL-904-B. There's a light M3 etching and also a PA 8-84. The matrix numbers all match up with a first press release. One more thing I didn't notice before, the vinyl is actually quite TRANSLUCENT BROWN when held against light. If Ebay allows it, I'll add some more pictures of it....if not, just email me and I'll send them directly to you! THE INSERT IS GUARENTEED TO BE REAL, and only came with 500 of the 1st presses.

I think the cover is probably from a 3rd press, as it mentions Plan 9 and Caroline but does not have a barcode. If anyone has more info regarding this pressing, please let me know so I can share it with others. I've never seen a translucent one before. Thanks, Kevin.
