This record is in near mint condition. It has a few(3 or 4) spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the iconic steamboat Reprise labels are in great shape and have little to report other than the few spindle marks.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are beautifully clean, have a stunning lustre and have nothing remotely serious showing in normal light. There is a couple of tiny minor lines/marks just about visible but these really are nothing at all serious. There is a few wispy lines and very minor 'sleeve scuffs' visible under bright light but not many at all and again nothing remotely sinister. So overall this vintage record is in superb condition with no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and the most beautiful vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays really well and sounded superb throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is really clear with next to no surface noise or interference audible in the audio and only the most minimal amount possible in the run in. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops. Overall it was an absolute pleasure to play test and produced audio of great quality and excellent clarity throughout.
The front laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has only minor rubbing and wear to the corners and the edges with the writing along the spine all still clearly legible. There are of course no splits and no tears or pen marks anywhere. There is however a small scuff on the rear near the top right corner(right flipback). There is also some age related discolouring to the rear and a small grubby mark on the front in the top left corner. This issues are not extreme however and overall the sleeve looks tidy enough. There is also some laminate creasing to the front however but again nothing drastic. Overall a nice solid and generally tidy sleeve but with some general age related wear and the small scuff as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original poly-lined inner which is in very good condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks but does have creasing and age related discolouring. I will send the record in a plain white replacement to ensure no wear occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
