Description

This Rare Original Vinyl LP is called Shock Tactics and is the third studio album by British heavy metal band Samson, released in 1981. It was vocalist Bruce Dickinson's final album with the band before joining Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden were coincidentally recording Killers, their last album with Paul Di'Anno, in the same studio at the same time as Samson. The leader of Iron Maiden Steve Harris heard Bruce sing and knew he wanted him in his band. This album has some great moments with a few really solid highlight tracks topped off by a classic Metal opener “Riding with the Angels" , being the clear highlight. It’s hardly surprising that this album delivers, because you won’t find a better singer than Bruce Dickinson for delivering it’s anthemic & highly addictive chorus. If you like Bruce’s solo material then this song sounds like it could have been pulled straight off one of those records. Other great songs on here are "Earth Mother" , "Blood Lust" , "Go to Hell" , "Once Bitten" and "Communion" !
