Description
Samuil Feinberg (pianist) plays Robert Schumann (Humoresque in B flat major, op.20; Allegro in B minor, op.8; and two pieces from "Forest Scenes", op.82: Bewitched place & Prophetic bird) and Franz Liszt (Mephisto-Waltz). Recorded 1952, 1953, 1950.
Akkord (Acchord) ?-011057-8 MONO. USSR, 1962, 1st Leningrad pressing.
VINYL VISUALLY IS VG- (SIDE 1) AND VG/VG+ (SIDE 2), LOTS OF STORAGE SCUFFS AND MARKS, TWO SCRATCHES FEELABLE BY FINGERTIP ON THE FIRST HALF OF SIDE 1 (ONE MEDIUM IS VISIBLE ON PHOTO 4, AND ANOTHER IS QUITE SHORT). THERE IS A DECENT SURFACE NOISE AND CRACKLE IN THE FIRST 7-10 MINUTES PLAYBACK OF SIDE 1, AND 25-30 POPS MOST PROBABLY FROM SCRATCHES ALSO, SOME OF THEM CONSECUTIVE, NO SKIPS OR REPEATS ON MY EQUIPMENT. 2ND PART OF SIDE 1 HAS SUPRISINGLY LOW LEVEL OF NOISES, WHICH ARE PRETTY SMOOTH AND ALSO NO SUCH ISSUES REGISTERED. SIDE 2 PLAYS TYPICALLY FOR THESE AKKORD PRESSINGS: MODERATE SURFACE NOISE THOUGHOUT, ONE OR TWO LIGHT POPS, NOTHING SERIOUS.

VG++ (= EX): Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: a couple of inaudible light scuffs and/or light scratches.

VG : Scratches and scuffs. Album plays with some more surfacenoise (light crackle and/or or occasional pops, but no skipped or repeat grooves).
