SAMURAI Samurai GREENWICH GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LP ~ P-1W/P-1W ~ GSLP. 1003!
Original UK LP with ‘gatefold sleeve’ and original paper/poly lined inner sleeve.
Released in 1971 on the GREENWICH GRAMAPHONE COMPANY label.
Catalogue number: GSLP. 1003.
Matrix numbers read:
A-Side: XZAL-10755.P-1W.
B-Side: XZAL-10756.P-1W.
Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD+ CONDITION (*Plays FINE/EXCELLENT)
Clean sleeve, displays a small light sticker trace mark on the front top right hand corner.
Some partial patches of sleeve print edge wear, relatively minor on the top/bottom edges and some small touches on the spine’s edge, some sleeve print is lightly affected.
Has some small light superficial sleeve print, cracks/wrinkles/creases, a few on the front/back and a few which overlap the spine’s edge.
Middle gatefold sleeve’s appearance is EXCELLENT.
Sleeve displays no major defects, there are no rips/tears (very slight sleeve print lift on sticker trace mark), no seem splits, no writing and no deep lined sleeve creases.
Sleeve is graded VERY GOOD+ condition.
The original paper/poly lined inner sleeve, has light creases, with gum residue showing, poly lining loose on one side, has no splits or large rips, condition is VERY GOOD+.
Labels are clean with just a few small faint spindle hole trail marks on both sides.
Retains the full original glossy sheen, displays one visible finger nail surface scuff mark at 7 o’clock across part of track two and part of track three (non-sounding, no passing clicks or ticks).
There is one small, smooth soft, sleeve pressing (misting mark) on the A-side, at 2 o’clock on the middle first track.
With some minor traces of pressing misting (marks) on the B-side in the same relative position (opposite).
This is not a handling or playing fault, as the record was bought from new like this, and play is not affected.
There are a few small/tiny minor/minimal (almost negligible), fine line sleeve scuffs when viewed/angled under a strong bright LED light.
Record appearance grades visually as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition.
*Record plays FINE/EXCELLENT on both sides, emits a clean sound with no loud/audible background crackles/clicks.
Has some occasional, odd touches of very low level, background surface noise, in places, however overall, this is relatively minor.
