SAN 103-6 gold/white Angel – MOZART: COSI FAN TUTTE – SCHWARZKOPF / LUDWIG
1963 HMV stereo recording on gold/white Angel labels catalogue numbers SAN 103-6 (SLS 901-4). Boxed set of 4-LPs (7 sides) Mozart’s opera "Cosi Fan Tutte" with Karl Bohm conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra & Chorus. Soloists: Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Christa Ludwig, Hanny Steffek, Alfredo Kraus, Giuseppe Taddei, Walter Berry.
The 4 discs are overall in superb condition. Side 5 has tiny marks near the start which produce about 20 light ticks in the first minute. We have not played the other 6 sides as there are no visible marks. The illustrated libretto is excellent. Original inners. Box is excellent with minor scuffing and some dirty marks on cover.
