SAN 146-7-8 (SLS 915/3) White Angel – HANDEL: MESSIAH – KLEMPERER
1965 HMV stereo recording on gold labels with white angels. Boxed set of 3 LPs with 20-page illustrated booklet. Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra with soloists Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Grace Hoffman, Nicolai Gedda, Jerome Hines, in Handel’s oratorio Messiah.
The 3 discs have no visible marks; we have not played them. Booklet is excellent.
Box is grubby with a 5 cm split on rear (not visible from front).
