.The San Francisco Technical Knock Out's in "Herm" / " Oh Baby, Baby" Golden Soul, GS#7112. Here's what Funk 45 dot com say about this monster 45 :"Hard Punchin' Herman Henry...who is married to Dorothy Morrison from Brown Door and Buddah fame...wrote this track. It is also the only track he ever wrote. It was a bridge they used to play while switching up to the next song while performing live. Herman Henry started the band in '62 and they only last 7 or 8 years. They had multiple performers in the band and this one that recorded Herm stared a 12 year old drummer! The group was called The San Francisco Technical Knock Out's. Herman was a real boxer and that is how he got the title Hard Punchin'. Herman Henry went on to be a Program Director at KSOL radio".Recorded at the Legendary Golden State Recorders.. Vinyl is VG+( nice and glossy, some faint marks visible , plays excellently).This funky artifact is so rare it is hard to put a value on it but a copy recently traded hands for a grand. I've lived all my life in the Bay Area and this is the only copy I've ever seen !.......................PLEASE check my other auctions for more rarities and obscurities of the vinyl variety.
