Roger Sanchez may have been one of New York house music's biggest stars since the dawn of the 90s, but it's a long time since he's taken time to record and release an album. In fact, Spectrum is Sanchez's first new studio album in two decades. Reportedly recorded over six years and packed with eye-catching collaborations and guest appearances (Fedde Le Grand, former Spice Girl Mel C, Low Steppa and Karen Harding all feature), the triple-vinyl set is packed to the rafters with the kind of big-room ready, radio-friendly big room house music that Sanchez has long excelled at making. Highlights include, but are in no way limited to, the Flamenco house excellence of 'El Gitano', the 'Most Precious Love'-referencing 'Midas Touch', the muscular 'Love Like This' (an update of the Reel To Reel boogie jam 'Love Me Like This'), the mid-90s MK flex of 'I Don't Wanna Know' and the Pacha-ready 'Dark Days'.
