Description
Here we have a copy The Sandals’ Endless Summer picture sleeve ep. All four tracks on the ep feature in Bruce Brown’s classic 60’s surf film of the same name. This is an extremely rare and collectable 60’s Australian only release, it only pops up on Ebay a couple of times per year. It’s a mono pressing on the Festival label (FX-11239), and has a laminated flipback cover. As mentioned, very hard to find!
I would rate the cover as (Ex-). Its glossy and clean, the only minor issue is a heavy crease on the bottom left hand side corner. The crease isn’t as noticeable on the back as the front. There are no splits, tears, writing, sticker etc. The corners and edges are intact. All in all, a really nice looking cover.
The vinyl is (G). Its nice and clean but has lots of light marks/scuffs on both sides, but no deep scratches. There is some light background noise when played on my turntable, but nothing too overpowering. Still very listenable!
The labels are (VG). There is minor signs of wear, but no stickers, sticker residue, stains or tearaways. There is a small neat owners name written in blue ballpoint pen on Side 2, but it’s quite inconspicuous.
Comes with the original plastic inner sleeve in VG condition, no splits, holes etc.
This hard to find ep is a rare piece of Australian music and surfing memorabilia! A good playing copy or would look awesome framed on the wall. Buyer can pick up from Sorrento, Victoria, or can post Australia wide for $3.50. Registered Post is available for an extra $2.95 and is highly recommended for a record of this rarity.
