Sandro Tengo Una Historia Asi.  2020 was a year of great celebrations for Sandro's career and work. On the one hand, April 11 marked the 50th anniversary of his debut at Madison Square Garden in New York, being the first Latin artist to sing in that legendary stadium. His album "Muchacho" also celebrated its 50th anniversary, which included the soundtrack of the successful film of the same name. And on August 19 Roberto Sánchez, Sandro, would have turned 75 years old. But this year was different. From some sacred place, Sandro sent a gift to his "girls", to his unconditional followers: "No te Vayas Todavia", a song written, music and lyrics by Roberto, who for some reason never got to record to include in any of his records. Olga Garaventa de Sánchez authorized Sony Music to develop this "rescue" process to achieve, with this project, the best final result. Now, it was completed with 10 more songs, one of them unreleased: "Eso que se hace de a dos" and with another 8 in versions never heard before. The publication, in August 2021, was a very pleasant surprise for all lovers of El Gitano. And now it comes in vinyl format, as Sandro would have liked to see it and hold it in his hands. A wonder where time does nothing but enlarge that work and that omnipresence of Sandro in every heart of his thousands of followers.
