Description
Sandrose: same 1972, France/Polydor 2393 030. Disc appears to be unplayed, there are no spindle marks at all. Side one is flawless, side two has a short scratch that makes about one minute of light ticks, it's M- otherwise. Gatefold cover is in lovely EX shape, a small split in the bottom seam and a few very minor creases can be seen in the lower corner at the pocket if you tilt it into the light. Up for grabs this week is one of the rarest major-label LPs from the European continent, and what a monster it is... to me it sounds like Spring on Neon with a female vocalist, or perhaps Room on Deram. Dag Erik Asbjornsen cites Julian's Treatment in his book "Scented Gardens Of The Mind" and that's close as well. A very romantic sound but loaded with the heavy distorted guitar of Jean-Pierre Alarcen who had previously led Eden Rose. A great copy of an impossibly rare underground piece!

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
