THE ORCHIDS - "EPICUREAN - A SOUNDTRACK" (1992)
I wasn't quite sure what release this double album was when I first bought it some 20 years ago or so from a record fair in Leamington Spa.
On closer inspection I found SARAH 611 visible scratched on the run out so searched the Sarah Records Discography to find out it was this Double LP
So, you are bidding on a Rare white-label Test-Pressing Promo of the album "Epicurean - A Soundtrack" by Scottish indie band The Orchids.
It is a double album and a compilation of their tracks from the early singles, to album tracks and newer material - a kind of anthology of the band.
This copy has plain white labels and is unmarked being a test-pressing and has no artwork.
The records are in plain white sleeves individually and a clear polythene cover with the original sales tag on collectively.
The Orchids were one of the original Sarah Records bands, one of the best, and one of the most loved bands on this influential label.
I couldn't find any of these white-label versions when I searched online.
The actual album "Epicurean" itself is quite rare as it is.
I could only find a cassette version for over £11, and a vinyl album for over £58 !
So grab yourself a rare bargain at a low start of only 99p!

Condition:
The record has only been played a few times and is in excellent condition.
It has no scratches or blemishes.
I played it through last night and it played perfectly with no hiss and no noticeable crackle (if your needle is in decent condition).
One of the white labels on the records as a tiny fold/piece missing and so is not completely circular (see last pic) - not that this makes the slightest difference, it was bought that way and not damaged by myself. It looks like it occured when the label was added in test-press manufacture.
