Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1955 copy of the classic Sarah Vaughan in Hi-Fi LP on Columbia CL-745. Beautiful 6-Eye deep-groove original. This recording was made in 1949 with a group of the "coolest" players in the jazz scene at the time, including Miles Davis, who gives here a truly inspired performance, one of his most sensitive and lyrical recordings ever, in many peoples' opinions. This copy is just stunning. There are maybe some very light sleeve whisps on the disc but really it plays nearly completely flawlessly and just beautifully. There are maybe some distant, tiny crackles between some songs but barely that. This is a fantastic playing copy. Unbelievable sound. The cover is also nearly immaculate, with only the lightest wear on the glossy front cover, but barely. Aside from that this cover is amazing. No seam splits, creases, marks, dogears, edgewear, or anything. Crisp and clean corners and edges, a perfectly readable spine, and overall barely any sign of use or age. Just beautiful. This is truly a top, top original copy, very hard to beat.
