Description

SAVOY BROWN BLUES BAND – “Shake Down” LP

Grading: For grading purposes I use the British Record Collector's grading scale with occasionally (+) or (-) signs to denote the in-between conditions. Descriptions are economic in their wording, limited to the essentials and I never use phrasing such as “awesome” coupled with thousands of exclamation marks as a matter of self-respect. If something is not in tune with our mutual understanding of the grading scale it will be mentioned between brackets next to the grade  

General details : Rare 1967 UK Original Mono first issue LP on DECCA (Side A: ARL-7887-1A / Side B: ARL-7888-1A stamped matrix numbers & Original ‘silver-red w/ unboxed logo’ labels; see photos), with a Robert Stace laminated picture sleeve, in a good condition  

Country - Label (Catalogue Nr.) - Year : UK Original LP – DECCA (LK 4883) - 1967  

Inserts &/or Sleeve Details : No Beverly Bridge writing credit, track A4, on sleeve (see photos)  

Record &/or Label Details:  Track A6 credited to D. Malone on sleeve, real name, Robey, on label / Track B2 credited incorrectly to Willie Dixon; written in 1954 by Chester Burnett as "I Have A Little Girl" / Track B4 incorrectly listed on label as "It's All My Fault" and correct on sleeve as "It's My Own Fault" (see photos)
   
Condition Record(s) : GOOD- (shiny w/ several marks; plays loud w/ low surface and no other defects; definitely very enjoyable)
Condition Sleeve : GOOD- (ageing but without splits)
