SAVOY BROWN - HELLBOUND TRAIN
1972 UK 1st press copy of this highly collectable rock/blues rarity with the wonderfully impressive stereo sound quality being a true highlight

Excellent (EX) condition jet black sheen vinyl with earliest 1G/1G stampers, some extremely faint paper scuff marks and the odd small and very light wispy hairline on each side - nothing feelable or below the surface and purely superficial as borne out by the superb stereo sound quality. Clean, crisp boxed Decca labels with silver writing upon green background - virtually unmarked apart from a few very fine spindle trails adjacent to the centre whole on each side. Non-laminated very good plus (VG+) condition Robert Stace 1st press outer sleeve with just a little intermittent and minor edge scuffing - a little more pronounced next to the corners, some mild ring wear on the reverse side, just the occasional small and very non-obvious handling/shelf wear mark, and a name neatly written in blue biro on the inside of the gatefold towards the top edge (see photo). Excellent plus (EX+) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference or distortion and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum...negligible in fact. Great tone with crystal clear vocals and instrumentation and every track a great listen.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
