Description

Up for auction is a very nice original copy of the Savoy Brown album "Looking In" originally released in the U.S. on Parrot Records (PAS 71042) in 1970.

-Guaranteed original First Pressing, not reissue -Correct 1st pressing matrix reads 11-20-70 & 8-28-70 -Original paste-down gatefold cover -Includes original London inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover

Condition: The cover is beautifully preserved, with only a hint of wear--just some very light rub on back top center, and on couple seams.  Interior gatefold is clean, and spine is tight, as if the cover has never been fully opened, very crisp. No seam splits or cracking, a very attractive, well-preserved original cover. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-), much nicer than common VG+ copies.  Very difficult to upgrade.
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, still has its original high gloss shine and luster.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint signs of having been taken out of the inner sleeve a couple times.  Looks like it's been played a couple times, but very carefully handled.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  I've owned this record for 30 years, play tested it, then archived it un-played.  Grade: Near Mint (NM).
