Description
Up for auction here is "The Paris Scene" LP by Andre Hodeir and the Jazz Group of Paris on the Savoy label, catalog # MG 12113. This pressing has deep groove red labels with "RVG" stamped in the dead wax. The LP has some light marks and scuffs (although they look like they were there since the record came off the record press...not like it was abused). I tried to show the scuffs at the beginning of the video below ....and as you can hear, it plays beautifully. The cover has a cut corner at top left and a 4 inch seam split at bottom center, but the front and back artwork are beautiful. I haven't had time to listen to the whole LP, but that little bit I heard sounded amazing....I wish I could keep it. Some very hip tunes on here. Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $15 to Canada and $25 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $4 each to Canada and $7 each to the rest of the world.
