Beethoven "Emperor" Concerto
(Columbia SAX 2252 UK LP 1959)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated flipback sleeve which has a gold "EMI Stereophonic" sticker on the front. It comes with its original polythene-lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve - which is in Near Mint condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "blue & silver" Columbia labels which are grooved also. The matrix numbers are YAX 8-13 and YAX 9-10. The mother stampers are P 1 and GM 1. A genuine UK 1st Stereo pressing with a fully laminated sleeve and has the earliest matrix & mother stampers. These are quite rare.
Sleeve: There is a small 1 cm tear at the front sleeve opening. There is a tiny little tear at the bottom right corner tip. There is some mild rubbing wear to the top edge. Otherwise Some light wear only. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and about 3 small, & light, hairline marks. VG+ condition. The labels are very nice and clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter passages. There are a few light clicks on one passage.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
