Description

EMI Columbia stereo 3 disc boxed set, SAX 2254-56, SMS 1001.   First blue and silver label discs, pressed in England.  Early gray box.  Includes both the insert and the hard to find complete libretto.  These did not originally come with the complete libretto, it had to be purchased separately.

Verdi, Falstaff, complete opera.  Herbert von Karajan conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus and a great cast headed by Tito Gobbi and Elizabeth Schwarzkopf.  See pics for complete cast and program details.  .

Discs all NM, box VG+  A very nice copy of a great recording.
