This Auction is for The Lp - Beethoven Symphony No 6 in F major ' Pastoral'. Otto Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra.

1958 Blue/Silver Label Stereo Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2260 - Matrix -YAX 39-1 &YAX 40-3.

Vinyl - Ex - The record looks as though it has been barely played, The surface still has a lovely sheen.

It plays with a lovely Deep Rich Stereo sound although with light static crackle and ticks in places, I find this is quite common on pressings of this age even where the playing surfaces are still in as excellent a condition as this one and it detracts very little from the excellent sound and enjoyment of the record.

Sleeve - Vg+ - Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some age related wear - mainly dis-colouring on the rear cover although nothing major as can be seen in the pics.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. 

Please note: A mid range technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.
