SAX 2266/68 The Barber of Seville - Callas / Gobbi Columbia Silver/Blue UK pressing.
VERY RARE IN THIS CONDITION
Description:
3 Disc Box Set - Original Blue / Silver Labels - Includes Original Insert Sheet and Libretto - Complete Opera - Luigi Alva (Tenor), Fritz Ollendorff (Bass), Maria Callas (Soprano), Tito Gobbi (Baritone), Nicola Zaccaria (Bass), Mario Carlan (Tenor), Gabriella Carturan (Soprano), The Philharmonia Chorus and Orchestra, Conducted by Alceo Galliera
This set came to me from the original owner they were purchased new in London, he was an audiophile who bought all the best recordings as they were released. He was no Opera buff so they have rarely been played. They are only graded Near Mint for that reason.
Records are in the following conditions:
Disc 1 is in NM Condition
Disc 2 is in NM Condition
Disc 3 is in NM Condition
Box is in EX+ Condition a couple of minor wear marks on two corners, the only flaw is where he wrote his name and then put tippex over it see top right corner of main scan.
