Description

Puccini: La Fanciulla del West (Das Madchen aus dem goldenen Westen). Complete opera. Sung in Italian. Cast includes Birgit Nilsson, Andrea Mongelli, Joao Gibin, Renato Ercolani, Antonio Cassinelli, Enzo Sordello, Giuseppe Morresi, Carlo Forti, Gabriella Carturan, Nicola Zaccaria, Angelo Mercuriali. Chorus and Orchestra of the Scala, Milan conducted by Lovro von Matacic. Superb performance !!!

Label: Columbia SAX 2286-88. Blue/silver labels. First edition (ED1). Records come in German box. The vinyl of these three early UK stereo LP's is ex- (some small surfacemarks and hairlines that play with some incidental soft pops only). VERY RARE !!!
