This Auction is for The Lp - Callas Portrays Verdi Heroines.

1959 Blue/Silver Label Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2293.

Matrix: yax 166-10 / yax 167-13.

Side 1: Lady Macbeth.

Side 2: Abigaille " Nabucco", Elvira " Ernani" , Elisabetta di Valois " Don Carlos".

Vinyl - Ex - The record looks to have been very little played and retains a nice glossy shine, the labels are nice and clean as can be seen in the pics, there are some light bag sweat marks on the vinyl which don't affect playback, It Plays Excellent throughout with only an occasional small static tick/light click heard which you would expect from a pressing of this age, the record may benefit from a professional clean due to it's age.

Sleeve - Vg+ - Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some small age related wear mainly to edges, the inner sleeve has some creasing and slight discolouration - but Very Good condition overall - see pics.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.

Please note: A mid range technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.
