Description

First Japanese issue of EMI Columbia Records stereo SAX 2304, (OS 3114).  First green and gold label disc pressed in Japan by Nippon Columbia, Ltd..   Laminated flipback jacket with scalloped flipbacks.  Notes in Japanese only. 

David Oistrakh plays the Mozart violin concerto #3, K. 216,and the Prokofiev violin concerto #2, with the Philharmonia Orchestra.  Oistrakh also serves as conductor in the Mozart, the Prokofiev is conducted by Alceo Galliera.  See pics for program details.

Disc NM- to NM, a faint sleeve hairline on side 1 (Mozart) does not sound, play-graded, jacket VG++

A very nice alternative to the extraordinarily rare and expensive UK original.  Sound quality compares very well to the original UK edition.
