Description
SAX 2354 B/S ED1 Beethoven symphony 4 Klemperer Philharmonia EX/VG+.
Original 1st pressing on silver/blue labels.
Matrix numbers are:
Side 1 - YEX 455 - 7
Side 2 - YEX 456 - 4
Vinyl has been inspected very closely under strong light and visually grades as NM with no marks or signs of wear of any kind.
Side 1 plays with some light crackle in the background heard in some of the quieter sections for the 1st half of the side. Certainly nothing too obtrusive and I can’t see any reason for this on the surface of the disc. May be better if cleaned.
Side 2 plays perfectly with no noticeable deterioration in sound that I could discern.
Overall it visually grades NM but side 1 does play with some light crackle in places so EX
The sleeve has some laminate lift near opening edge and small track timings written on the rear. No other issues. Comes with original EMITEX inner in EX+ condition.
