Description

This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


Recording first published 1961 of Uk Columbia SAX 2379 blue/silver Sibelius Symphony No. 2 in D major Op. 43 with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Herbert Von Karajan. Sleeve is in excellent condition (with "s" arrows to the spine), some creasing and minor wear on the opening. The non-laminated part of the back cover is slightly discoloured with age. Inner sleeve is in nice condition. Would visually grade record EX. It plays on my Linn Sondek  with no skips or jumps, some crackles and occasional pop in places. There is a repeating tick for a short time on side 1. On side 2 there are two places.


Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
