Description

Very rare Columbia SAX 2397 Schubert Symphony in C major. The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer.
I am strict with grading. I rarely ever use NM. Please study pics and read carefully.
The cover is in strong Ex condition. No laminate creases, folds etc. The spine is clear and readable. There is only mild age related wear to rear of sleeve and a tiny area of wear to bottom edge -see pic
The record is in strong Ex condition. There are no scratches and no loud clicks. The record plays very well throughout and as expected from these first pressings, the sound is phenomenal at times. As with all vinyl, there is occasional background surface noise here and there. The very quiet beginning of side 1 has a little surface noise, which will definitely improve with gentle cleaning with prospective plays.
Another great album on the Columbia label.
