Description
This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.
Recording first published 1961 of Uk Columbia SAX 2410 blue/silver label Maria Callas sings French Operatic Arias played by the French National Radio Orchestra conducted by Georges Pretre. Sleeve is a flip back. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are YLX 1-4 and YLX 2-4.
Grading
Would grade the record visually as Excellent. On side 1 a very light scratch across band 4/5. On side 2 there are two parallel light scratches across band ¾. It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips or jumps. There is a little crackle in places so audio grading would be Excellent. Sleeve is Excellent. Some wear on the corners and a mark on the front sleeve. I have done my best to show this on the photos.?
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
