SAX 2485 b/s – ANNIE FISCHER / KLEMPERER – SCHUMANN P. C. & LISZT P. C. No.1
1963 Columbia stereo recording on blue/silver label, catalogue number SAX 2485, Annie Fischer playing the Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor and Liszt Piano Concerto No.1 in E flat major, with Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra.
At the start of Side 1 (Schumann) there are about 30 VERY faint ticks. A 4-cm light diagonal scratch (1st movement) produces 3 loud ticks. A very light 5-cm diagonal scratch towards the centre is inaudible. Side 2 has a 1-cm inaudible scratch. The flipback sleeve is intact with light edge & corner wear and scuffing of shiny front
